It's time to get the new year started off right by making a
few resolutions for this month. I know
that it'll take me some time to get back into the swing of things after having
so much leisure time last month, so I'm not going to make any goals that are
too difficult this month. I hope.
Write At Least 2,013 Words
This needs to be a priority this month. I did a little last month, but I have yet to
write an ending, so that will be my focus.
I was going to make it an even 2,000, but I figured it might be cuter
and easier to remember this way.
Considering that I almost wrote 2,000 words every day during NaNoWriMo,
this should be simple, right? ...Right?
Learn At Least Two New Songs
I'm currently not taking piano lessons, but I still enjoy
teaching myself new songs. I think that
I should take some time this month to learn some new songs and not drive my
family crazy with the same ones all the time.
It would also be good to challenge my technique, as I've let my fingers
get a bit lazy lately. Holding down the
W key does not count as a finger
exercise.
Read At Least 5 Books
This should be a snap this month... at least I hope
so. The Scarlet Pimpernel is definitely
the next book I want to read after I finish Cinder. I'd also like to re-read The Count of Monte
Cristo sometime soon, as I got it in a leather version for Christmas, but we'll
see how I do.
I'm not challenging myself too much this month, but
hopefully just enough to get me motivated.
What about you? Any resolutions
for the year or for this month?

I love that your goals are so creative! Like, that they result in creativity! :)
