February Resolutions

Make Quiet Time for God Every Day

This is an important goal this month.  No more excuses, this month I'm determined to actually grow closer to my Lord.  Whether taking some time to read my Bible or just taking some time to listen to Him, this needs to happen every day.

Read At Least 2 New Books and Re-Read The Count of Monte Cristo

I think it's been three years now since I read The Count of Monte Cristo the first time.  I remember loving it, but it's such a complex story that it deserves a re-read.  And with such a lovely leather-bound copy, what excuse do I have?  Sure, it's a really, really long book, but I'm sure that I can manage it this month and still read some others.  Um... mostly sure.

Write At Least 4,000 Words

I've proved to myself that I'm not too bad at writing as I go, so I'm pretty sure that I can handle this.  The biggest challenge is going to be finding enough time to crank out those words, as it takes me forever to write when I don't have a layout of how things are going to go in my head.

What are your resolutions for February?

  1. Have fun with your goals! I read The Count of Monte Cristo a long time ago as well and you remind me that I should re-read it too. :)

    1. Thanks! I'm super excited to read it again. I hope it's as good as I remember it.
